Reflexologist in a micro‑enterprise: keep your accounts without spending evenings on it

Most reflexologists who set up choose the micro‑enterprise for its simplicity. Simple does not mean without obligations: a few rules apply, and it is better to adopt good habits from the first session.

A guide, not legal advice

This article presents the general principles. Rules evolve and depend on your situation: verify them with URSSAF, your chamber of commerce, or a chartered accountant.

The revenue book

It is the central document. Each receipt is recorded in chronological order, with the date, client’s identity, amount, payment method and the invoice or note reference.

The purchase register is generally required only for sales or accommodation activities; however, keeping your expenses is useful to monitor profitability.

Invoices and notes

For a service billed to a private individual, a note must be provided from €25 TTC onward, and on request below that amount. If you benefit from the VAT exemption scheme, the mention “VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the CGI” appears on your invoices.

  • Continuous numbering No gaps or duplicates
  • Mandatory information Identity, SIRET, date, service, price

Declarations

The turnover received is declared to URSSAF each month or each quarter, according to the chosen option, even when it is zero. Also monitor the turnover thresholds for the micro‑enterprise and the VAT exemption: exceeding them changes your obligations.

A 10‑minute per week method

  • Each session that is paid generates an invoice or note, issued on the same day.
  • Each expense (training, oils, room rental) is photographed and filed.
  • Once a week, please verify that the revenue book matches your bank deposits.
  • Each month or quarter, file your declaration based on the total of the revenue book.
  • Keep everything for at least ten years.

ReflexoDesk keeps the books for you

In ReflexoDesk, the invoice is generated at the end of a session; the revenue book, expense register, journal and ledger are filled in gradually. The supporting documents are filed with each expense, and your declarations and thresholds are monitored.
