Reflexology

A natural and holistic approach for your well‑being

What is reflexology?

Reflexology is a manual therapeutic practice that is based on the principle that every organ, gland or part of the body is represented on the feet, hands and ears by reflex zones. By applying pressure to these zones, the reflexologist stimulates the body’s self‑regulation abilities and promotes a return to balance.

Different specialties

Reflexology is offered in several complementary approaches.

  • Foot Reflexology The most common. Stimulation of reflex zones located under the feet to affect the whole body. Ideal for stress, digestive disorders and chronic pain.
  • Hand Reflexology Work on the hands, particularly suitable for people with foot sensitivity or as a complement to foot reflexology.
  • Ear Reflexology Stimulation of precise points on the ear pavilion. Highly effective for pain management and addictions.
  • Cranial Reflexology Gentle pressures on the skull and face to relieve migraines, stress and promote deep relaxation.
  • Facial Reflexology (Dien Chan) Vietnamese method of stimulating facial points. Rapid results on the nervous system and pain.
  • Spinal Reflexology Work along the spine to relieve muscular tension and postural problems.

How does a session proceed?

A reflexology session usually lasts between 45 and 90 minutes. The practitioner begins with a consultation to understand your needs and health condition. You then settle comfortably on a massage table. The reflexologist works on your feet (or hands/ears depending on the specialty) applying precise pressure to the reflex zones. The session ends with a period of relaxation. It is recommended to drink plenty of water after the session to aid toxin elimination.
